The Arab child well worth a travel
Morocco’s Minister of Health, Mohamed Cheikh Biadillah, went to the international Arab Child Health conference which opened in Riyadh.
He had to assist to the Arab Children Health Congress. The meeting was organized by the Saudis and the Arab League. The theme was "Arab’s children health, the Ummah’s investment". It’s especially an event that confirms perfectly the barrage of criticism on Mr Biadillah, concerning his absolute indifference towards Anfgou’s tragedy and his policy always based on ethnicization. As you know, the Berbers are the ancient inhabitants of North Africa. But, since the Arab invasion of the region, they are strangers in their own land.
What is surprising, it’s the fact that this Arab minister, and for Arabs only, had the financial means to go into the Wahabit Kingdom in a large desert. However, he didn’t consider useful to visit the Middle Atlas Mountains, particularly to go to Anfgou, a region forgotten by God and his men, localised in a few hundred kilometers from his home. Everybody remembers Anfgou’s event: about thirty babies dead because of the very cold climate and greater poverty and destitution and where Moroccan citizens (officially) are marginalized on all fronts. Perhaps the minister couldn’t move because there is any (real) road to visit this inaccessible region. However, we can understand it’s easier for the minister to fly and land in the capital of his Arab ancestors, in Saudi Arabia, rather than going to visit the region of Khenifra, a real no man’s land where Amazigh (Berber) people, who have never seen a vaccine in their lives, try to survive.
The fact that M. Biaddillah chose to go to Congress for the health of Arab children reveals the aims of his policy: to bring better health to Arabs, as the Congress’ name says, It’s quite logical because the Moroccan constitution stipulates that the country is "an Islamic and fully sovereign state whose official language is Arabic" and "the Kingdom of Morocco constitutes of the Great Arab Maghreb". Despite he’s at his home, Amazigh doesn’t exist. So, how can Amazigh people expect this Arab minister to make their health better since he is the minister of Arabs? Normally, a doctor is supposed to treat sick people, whatever their origins. But it’s not the case when you are confronted with hateful persons.
We can conclude that the Amazigh aren’t concerned by RAMED’s programme. Indeed, this programme allows Morocco’s less-privileged families to have easier access to medical care. That is to say all the persons who live in the most remote regions. And as you know, almost of these people speak Tamazight and are very poor. Then, we want to ask our “leaders” if they can answer this question: to whom this programme which costs millions of dirham is aimed to? ...
The Makhzen takes every opportunity to disguise its true and hateful nature by pretending to defend universal human values, which emphasized his hypocrisy. But No beating around the bush with me: if Anfgou’s villagers died, it’s because they are Amazigh and doesn’t speak any other language except Tamazight. Whatever the place where they live, people who speak Tamazight (Berber), that is to say the authentic Amazigh, are left to their own devices. That’s the source of all their problems.
Because they decide to resist to arabization, political authorities punish them by giving them a hard time. And as you surely know, the makhzen hate them. Savagely. That’s why he only serves his people’s interests, the Arabs. The Amazigh people must realize that Arabs defend only their brothers. When will they wake up and take care of their brothers too?
This event was aimed to emphasise the behaviour of moroccan minister of Health,M. Biadillah, following to Anfgou’s tragedy (on January 27, 2007)
