As large as and more mountainous than Switzerland, it is located in the heart of the Himalayan chain between India and China. Its greatest asset is its Buddhist philosophy. This philosophy is based on a Tibetan doctrine but unlike Tibet, Bhutan is a sovereign country. Bhutan is a theological monarchy that perpetuates itself in and by its traditions. Its way of life did not include television until 1999.

Autonomous Kabylia will eat stones

To those who still claim that Autonomous Kabylia will not do well, it is forgetting the strong relation between Kabyles and their land. Pierre Bourdieu has worked in a lifetime about that.

And if for freedom Kabylia must draw on the resources of it’s land, it will not be a novelty.

France rightly prides itself for his new victory, a performance which allowed France to sign a very tempting contract with China for the provision of two EPR nuclear reactors . In September it was with Libya that the nuclear giant Areva windy prowess by promising substantial profits for the benefit of France.

With over a third of Algeria’s non-oil added value coming from its agribusiness sector, a recently published survey of the country’s food-processing market made for some interesting reading. The survey underlined the sector’s shortcomings in terms of development strategy, despite a number of positive aspects.
