Fasting from sunrise to sunset is a struggle for Kabylians during this month of Ramadan because the month will present a more perilous struggle for non-Muslims in Kabylia where we find more and more people who don’t believe in the lies of the “immoral Bedouin” and against whom the Algerian Islamist authorities promise to increase their violence against them, against human rights.
Many kabylian Christians and atheists are forced to undergo the Islamic discriminatory and repressive actions of the police during the whole month. If a kabylian Christian or atheist is caught having his lunch during this month of hypocrisy, he or she is automatically humiliated or thrown to jail by the police. In other regions of Algeria if any non-Muslim citizen is caught eating in public he undergoes the same fate. The eyes of Islamic fanatics are wide open during this month to chasse the non-Muslims that they call the infidels.
The majority of non-Muslim Kabylians are forced to hide themselves when they want to eat something. Many restaurants and bars are forced to close even when their owners are non-Muslims. No restaurant is open for non-Muslims in the whole country during this month. It’s hell. Islamist violent hordes are always around to force non-Muslim people to obey the Islamic tyranny.
Who spoke about democracy in this fanatic country? In countries where the fascist Islam faith is dominant, everything is hypocrisy, violence and antihuman.

Berbers have been invaded by Islamists terrorist hordes which colonized their land, Tamazgha since the death of Dihya, 14 centuries ago. Islam is imperialism.
Consequently, the majority of Berbers have been forced to become Muslims. Islam is a foreign fascist ideology for us, just like Nazism.
We have nothing in common with Arabic people or Muslims. Our cultures are very different. We have never shared at all the same vision of the world with the Arabic-Islamist fascists who never accept cultural freedom or difference. They have always been our foes because they are violent assimilationists. True Islam is against peace.
Islam is against human freedom. And as Berbers are free men - Imazighen - this religion is then in total opposition to our being, to our way of being.
Who can accept an ideology which opposes his/her freedom and human rights??? Even an animal would not accept it.
We, Kabylians, are proud to be peaceful, respectful, and wise secular people, conscious of the dangers and challenges of our time and the future. We say no to Islam which is the generator of violence, wars and tyrannies.

Back to Ramadan curse for the Kabyls: In the region where I live…life goes on day in day out as if there were no Ramadan around me.
About one hundred yards away from my house, you can see in the open, people who are having a picnic every afternoon.
And lo behold, I went to Yakouren last week and what did I see at the side of the road? A half dozen people eating… and sipping their red wine… right in the open…
We drove by…and along the highway (from Azazga to Yakouren) you could see stalls and the poor merchant trying to sell their ware.
I wonder if any of that are in the business of selling food and wine!
So, so much for a curse, but granted, it depend where in Kabylie you live… because we also do have our zealots!

Am not a muslim. Iam an Hindu, I dont say any religion say bad about other religion. but the people who follows this makes it hard. Islam is not wrong, the people who are aggressive on it are wrong. Fasting is their custom in their religion we can encourage that, but they have no rights to make non-muslim to be in fasting. Every religion has their own principle, we have to respect others idea and principle. If this happens then no war in this world. First our human kinds have to learn how to respect others.

As a Moroccan who is a proud Amazigh, I find the above posts racist, bigoted and extremely disturbing. I do not understand why some of the Qbayles have become so intolerant and so Islamophobic. Right now, all of their problems with the majority of Algerians (and Moroccans by the way) who do not share their “separatist movement” are blamed on Islam, Saudi Arabia and and Arabs in general. Arabs invaded Morocco in the 7th…and yet after so many centuries, pretty much half of Morocco still speaks their centuries old languages. The British invaded North America and within 200 years, not only native languages were completely eradicated, the native population itself was nearly decimated. The “native Indians” have been pushed in their “reservations” and are often ridiculed for their “backward habits”….including their strange languages and customs. The Qbayel still speak their language for a reason..if what you call the Arabs or Muslims wanted to turn them into the native Indians of America, it would have happened in the 11th century. Stop the racism, the bigotry, and the intolerance. Unless the majority of Algerians accept an independent kabylia, there is not going to be one. The only solution is total laicism. Laws should not be based on any religion, but on morality derived only from logic and science (what has been called “laik ahlak” by Recep Peker). Everyone who wants to believe in Mohammed (or Buddha, or Jesus, or whoever) should accept that this is his personal thing and that he has no right to force it on anyone else and that he shouldn’t disturb anyone with it.
Another example is hijab, women get a strong social pressure to wear it, even if they don’t believe in it (at least in parts of Morocco, and even in some Muslim immigrant communities in Europe). I believe hijab is quite offensive to non-Muslims. It implies: “Look, I am a good Muslim, and I am better than women without hijab”. And it limits women’s right to dress as they like. I mean, mostly women have to wear hijab, but their brothers and husbands who force them to wear it run around in jeans and t-shirts. Muslims must accept that religion is a private thing, so they shouldn’t wear religious uniforms to show off.

In all US states, the law bans the sale of alcohol on Sunday or Sunday morning and France’s public schools close on most christian holidays that are significant to French religious heritage…….I also see people talk about Morocco all the time…..yes the hijab has become a “fashion accessory” and that is not a bad thing…some of you rather see our girls wear whatever Britney Spears wears or what some French magazine decides for them…well screw that. Hajib has become a statement of independence. People need to feel proud of their own heritage…not adopt what others decide for them all the time.
