Clashes have opposed during yesterday day and night, Kabyles and military - gendarmes.

According to reliable information received from credible sources, the conflict allegedly occurred when citizens have surprised the military burning the forest, under pretext of anti-terrorism. Fires have caused the death of ten people (mostly children) and the evacuation of several homes by their families.

Surprised in the process of setting the fire deliberately, soldiers were asked to leave by local populations.

This morning, after the violent clashes the yesterday night, the population requires the departure of soldiers and gendarmes in Tizi-Ghnif, Ait Yahia Moussa, Mâamar, Larbâa Nath Irathen ....

Today, the National road 25 is closed to traffic in protest against the military and gendarmes who are asked to leave.
